To my dear Auntie Helen. I miss you so much. It was this time last year you were round our house celebrating NYE with some board games and drinks. I’m glad I have so many nice memories to look back on, some from years ago and some from more recently. From lazing on comfy couch with you eating chocolate, to you arranging to go into work later so you could come on the bus with me to my training course. You were such a fun Auntie and the most active lazy person I knew! All the galavanting, running, tennis, swimming lessons and holidays you went on, with a nap in between! One of my favourite memories of you is last Christmas when Nanny was grumping about something and you whipped off your headscarf and said ‘well I’ve got cancer!’ You sure shut her up but made us all laugh! We are so fortunate to have had you in our lives and you will never be forgotten. P.S I’ve got your sexy lace up knee length heeled boots! Xxx

Thoughts

Helen, I met you at Drama school in Guildford, many years ago. You were so much fun when I was too serious! Sadly we didn't keep in touch and never saw each other again... until London 2012. I was so pleased to see you! You're gone again but I'm sure somewhere, somehow, you're spreading happiness around you! You will always be remembered dear Helen! xx

I can't believe I'm writing within this box, titled, 'Tribute to Helen Scott'. Helen and I met at the Royal Opera House in 1994. Our friendship grew and in recent years I looked forward to Helen's annual Highland visits, where we frequented coffee and cake establishments and chatted away non stop. Helen was the best at conversations, she had plenty to say in her entertaining way, however, Helen was also the best at listening, taking a great and genuine interest in all of her friend's projects. Helen spoke warmly of her Parents, Val and Devon. Also her friends, to name a few, Heloise the beautiful actor, Lorraine, who she used to go running with, Rhona, I believe from memory, was into Crafts? All the 'Helen's' she met at Drumming and most recently, another friend Helen met on a train. Helen made friends so easily, hence, her vast network of friends. I wished I could have met Helen's family and friends today, to share stories about Helen. I miss her so much. Helen will be in my thoughts every day, forever more. Tanya. x

You shone bright at my wedding three months before you left us. Thank you for dancing all night and singing me away on my honeymoon. So to take lyrics from that song...'now is the hour, for me to say goodbye...'. Forever our Drama Queen!
